We are seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy and friendly team in Alton. This role is perfect for an organised and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will handle customer service, order processing, and general administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless and professional experience from enquiry through to order fulfilment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Customer Service
*Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels.
*Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, and delivery schedules.
*Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
*Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
*Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
Order Processing
*Accurately process and input customer orders onto internal systems.
*Verify order details, pricing, and delivery requirements.
*Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
*Monitor order progress and keep customers updated on any delays or changes.
*Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Administration
*Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document management.
*Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, and customer documentation.
*Maintain and update customer records and databases.
*Provide administrative support to the wider team as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Previous experience within customer service, administration, order processing, or a similar role.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*Good organisational and time-management abilities.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
*Experience using CRM or ERP systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
