to join our team as a kitchen assistant.

What is required from you?
*A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
*We currently have two part time opportunities available:
*Kitchen Assistant to work 16 hours per week to include alternative weekends
*Kitchen Assistant to work 24 hours per week to include alternative weekends
*Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential
A day in the life of a Kitchen Assistant
*Support
the chef to create healthy/balanced meals and snacks, and ensuring a good understanding
of various dietary requirements and allergens
*Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the kitchen area, with good levels of hygiene particularly in line with COSHH regulations and health and safety protocols
.
*Work as a team player, but have the ability to lone work when needed, effectively managing your time.
*Offer support
, communication and engagement to the residents.
About You


You don’t have to have worked in care before, a previous role in a different catering environment is great for someone willing to learn
. We’d like you to have some prior knowledge of food safety and COSHH. You will be a caring, self-motivated and
enthusiastic
individual
who is able to show empathy
