Full job descriptionPermanent | Monday-Friday | Day ShiftWe are seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a professional estates and facilities team in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable Monday-Friday day-shift pattern within a large, well-established healthcare environment.Role OverviewAs a Fabric Engineer, you will carry out a wide range of building fabric maintenance tasks to ensure the site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary estates team, delivering both planned and reactive works to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
*Building fabric maintenance including doors, locks, flooring, tiling, and fixtures
*Reactive repairs across the estate as issues arise
*Basic plumbing tasks such as unblocking drains and repairing leaks
*Minor carpentry and general handyperson duties
*Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
*Supporting the wider estates team to maintain a safe, functional environment
Salary & Benefits
*£35,000 per annum
*Monday-Friday day shift (no nights or weekends)
