The Role
An experienced and driven Sales Manager is sought to lead and develop a busy residential sales operation. This is a genuine leadership role for someone who thrives on motivating a team, driving performance, and delivering strong results in a target-focused environment.
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day success of the sales department, ensuring a strong market presence, consistent revenue growth, and an excellent standard of customer service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the daily operations of the branch’s sales department.
*Lead, coach and develop a team of negotiators and support staff.
*Drive new business through valuations, instructions and proactive networking.
*Track and report on KPIs, sales targets and overall team activity.
*Run regular one-to-ones and performance reviews with the team.
*Ensure a consistently excellent customer experience across the sales journey.
*Carry out market appraisals and convert opportunities into signed instructions.
*Stay current on local market trends and competitor activity.
*Ensure full compliance with property legislation and internal standards.
*Collaborate with other departments to maximise cross-selling opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
*Proven experience in residential property sales, ideally at management or senior negotiator level.
*Strong leadership and people-management skills.
*Excellent communication and negotiation ability.
*A target-driven, commercially minded approach.
*Solid understanding of the sales process and relevant property legislation.
*The ability to lead from the front and build a high-performance culture.
