The Role
A well-established accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join its growing audit function. This is a hands-on role where you will take responsibility for leading audits from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and supporting junior team members on-site and in the office.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team with strong exposure to a varied client base and clear opportunities for development and progression.
Key Responsibilities*Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
*Prepare and review audit fieldwork and financial statements
*Supervise and support junior team members on-site and remotely
*Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
*Ensure audits are delivered within budget and timescales
*Identify key risk areas and apply appropriate audit testing
*Support managers with technical issues and audit file reviews
*Contribute to the completion of statutory accounts and audit files
About You*ACA or ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
*Strong background in UK practice audit work
*Experience leading audit sections or smaller audits
*Confident supervising and reviewing junior staff
*Strong understanding of audit methodology and financial reporting standards
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Able to manage deadlines and work across multiple assignments
