Resourcery Group are working with a £60m tunover UK Division of a large Plc as they look to hire a new Finance Manager in what is a commercial role. The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s financial reporting and forecasting cycles, acting as a trusted business partner to translate financial metrics into actionable insights for leadership. This is a brillinat opportunity to join a profitable and growing business, where finance is highly valued.
The business has a fully remote model with quarterly visits to the North West Head office.
Main duties
*Manage monthly management accounting and commercial analysis to maximize profitability and top-line growth.
*Evaluate business unit performance to flag financial risks and execute operational turnarounds.
*Report high-level financial insights and operational performance directly to executive boards and C-suite leaders.
*Own the end-to-end planning cycle, consolidating cross-functional P&L, balance sheet, and liquidity statements.
*Present annual plans and mid-year forecasts while clearly highlighting core strategic risks and rewards.
*Utilize scenario analysis and corporate modelling to stress-test future business decisions.
*Partner with senior division directors to steer financial success across assigned sectors.
*Steer strategic transformation and growth initiatives through analytical guidance and rigorous financial challenge.
Candidate profile
*Strong commercial and strategic thinking
*Excellent analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills
*Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at senior level
*Experience partnering with leadership teams and supporting business decision making
*Strong Excel and financial systems capability
