The Role
As an Audit Senior, you’ll be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard, within agreed budgets and deadlines. You’ll work closely with managers, partners and clients while providing day-to-day guidance to more junior members of the audit team.
Key Responsibilities*Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
*Organise and chair audit planning meetings with clients.
*Supervise, coach and review the work of Audit Semi Seniors and Audit Assistants.
*Prepare key audit documentation, reports and completion files.
*Identify technical issues and work with managers to resolve more complex matters.
*Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the audit process.
*Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, engagement documentation and internal quality standards.
*Monitor workflow, budgets and deadlines across your assignments.
*Support wider members of the audit team when required.
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
*ACA or ACCA qualification.
*Previous experience leading external audit assignments.
*Strong knowledge of UK audit standards and compliance requirements.
*Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
*Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
