Location: Greater Manchester
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Media Coordinator to join the communications team of a well-established international organisation. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for social media, digital engagement and content strategy, who enjoys using data and creativity to grow online communities and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities*Plan, schedule and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and YouTube.
*Manage both organic and paid social media campaigns to increase engagement, reach, brand awareness and conversions.
*Monitor social media channels, respond to enquiries and comments, and help maintain a positive online presence.
*Build and nurture relationships with online communities, supporters and influencers.
*Work closely with internal teams to develop and coordinate engaging digital content.
*Analyse campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite, producing regular reports and recommendations.
*Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging platforms to identify opportunities for improvement.
*Support the planning and optimisation of paid social campaigns, ensuring strong return on advertising spend.
*Assist with content planning through the creation and maintenance of content calendars.
*Work collaboratively with creative teams to develop high-quality social media assets.
Skills & Experience*Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a social media or digital marketing role.
*Proven experience managing both organic and paid social media campaigns.
*Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and their advertising tools.
*Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite and Meta Insights.
*Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
*Experience working with social media KPIs, reporting and campaign optimisation.
*Knowledge of Google Tag Manager and design software such as Photoshop would be advantageous.
*Experience working with influencers or online communities would be beneficial.
