You will be working in the Building Operating Unit where we are delivering One Appold Street, the structural refurbishment of a commercial office in the City of London . The project will transform the existing structure into high-quality office, leisure and hospitality space, with a strong focus on sustainability, circular design and ambitious targets.
We are currently looking for an Information Controller who will play a key role in the success of this project by leading the accurate, secure and efficient management of project information. In this role, you will oversee and implement the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring it aligns with industry standards, Skanska policies and customer requirements. You will also provide training and support to key stakeholders, helping teams confidently use the CDE to access critical information, improve decision-making and drive efficient project delivery across the full project lifecycle.
As the Information Controller, you will:
*Support the accurate and efficient management of all project information, including documentation, models and drawings, throughout the full project lifecycle.
*Help implement and maintain a robust Common Data Environment (CDE) that enables effective storage, retrieval and archiving of information.
*Oversee processes that promote data validation, accuracy, completeness and consistency across CDE structures and workflows.
*Champion high data quality standards to reduce errors and improve information reliability, in line with ISO 19650, company policy and the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
*Deliver training and guidance to the wider project team, building confidence and capability in the effective use of the Common Data Environment.
We are looking for:
*Strong experience in Information Control or Information Management roles.
*Experience using ’Asite’ as a Common Data Environment is preferred.
*Demonstrable knowledge and practical application of ISO 19650.
*Proven experience in developing, managing and maintaining the Master Information Delivery Plans.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, understand project requirements and present clearly to key stakeholders.
*A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
