About the Role
As a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
*Working with children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties
*Encouraging confidence, independence, communication, and emotional regulation
*Supporting learning across literacy, numeracy, and intervention sessions
*Assisting teachers with classroom preparation and learning resources
*Promoting positive behaviour and inclusive learning
*Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families

*GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
*Previous experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
