Mu client a progressive and expanding business as recruiting for a commercially minded qualified accountant to deliver as a Finance Business partner. Based in Milton Keynes the role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office p/w.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operational and senior stakeholders, providing financial insight, influencing decision-making, and driving business performance.


The Role


As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting business leaders by delivering meaningful financial analysis, challenging performance, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
*Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide financial support and commercial insight.
*Preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
*Producing monthly management reports, analysing variances, and recommending actions.
*Supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial modelling and business case analysis.
*Identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial performance.
*Driving continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
*Collaborating with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

We’re looking for someone who is commercially focused, confident in influencing stakeholders, and passionate about adding value beyond the numbers.


Ideal candidate:
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
*Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role.
*Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*The confidence to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
*Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is advantageous.
