Join an Innovative Technology BusinessWe are recruiting on behalf of an established technology company based in High Wycombe that develops cutting-edge conference, communication and audio-visual solutions used by organisations around the world.
As part of a collaborative software development team, you’ll play a key role in developing and enhancing browser-based applications that provide intuitive, responsive user experiences and support real-time communication with specialist hardware and software systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Front-End Web Developer looking to work on innovative products in a friendly and supportive environment, with the flexibility of hybrid working.
The RoleYour responsibilities will include:
*Developing and maintaining modern, responsive web applications.
*Building intuitive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
*Developing real-time browser functionality using JavaScript and Server-Sent Events (SSE).
*Working closely with software developers, engineers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
*Integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and real-time data services.
*Ensuring applications are accessible, performant and compatible across modern browsers.
*Troubleshooting, debugging and optimising existing applications.
*Contributing to code reviews and following development best practices.
About YouWe’re looking for someone with strong front-end development experience and a passion for building high-quality web applications.
Essential Skills*Strong commercial experience with:
*HTML5
*CSS3
*JavaScript (ES6+), including Server-Sent Events (SSE)
*Experience developing responsive web applications.
*Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
*Experience using Git or other version control systems.
*Good understanding of web accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Desirable Skills*Knowledge or experience of conferencing or unified communications technologies.
*Experience with real-time web applications.
*Familiarity with WebSockets.
*Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.
*Experience working within an Agile development environment.
