Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm / 10am-6pm

gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Metal Polisher / Finisher to work at their facility based near Hatfield / Welwyn Garden City.
Performance Objectives
*Responsible for ensuring specific polishing trimming operations are carried out
*Fully competent in grinding, drilling, punching and using band saws.
*Experience in using measuring equipment such as Vernier calipers/protractors & Micrometers.
*Ensure that work is conducted in a safe environment according to safe practices - report deviation from H&S good practice immediately.
Person Specification
*Some basic self-inspection required
*Health & Safety Training.
*Knowledge of polishing lathes and various polishing equipment;
*Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements relating to polishing and spraying machines
*Experience in a Metal Polishing / Trimming working environment
