Field Based, UK Wide
Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
Are you a true business developer who thrives on opening doors, winning new clients and landing major accounts?
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a leading B2B organisation as they continue an exciting period of growth, recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their national sales team.
This is a genuine hunter role. You’ll be responsible for identifying, targeting and winning new business with some of the UK’s largest organisations.
The Role
*Identify and win new business opportunities across a range of sectors
*Develop relationships with senior decision makers within large organisations
*Build strategic account plans to secure major new logos
*Lead the sales process from prospecting through to close
*Work collaboratively with internal specialists throughout the sales cycle
*Hand successfully won accounts over to the Key Account Management team before focusing on your next opportunity
*Play a key role in launching an exciting new product into the market later this year
About You
We’re looking for someone who loves winning new business and has a proven track record of opening doors.
You’ll ideally have:
*A strong background in B2B business development
*Experience winning medium to large corporate accounts
*A consultative, strategic sales approach
*Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision makers
*Experience managing long sales cycles
*Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
*A resilient, self-motivated attitude with genuine drive to succeed
Industry experience isn’t essential. We’re far more interested in your ability to win complex new business and demonstrate success in enterprise-level sales.
Experience selling subscription-based services, managed services, facilities management, telecoms or similar consultative solutions would be highly advantageous.
