We are working in partnership with a progressive and welcoming secondary school in Northampton that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher from September 2026. This is a full-time position available on either a permanent or fixed-term basis, depending on the successful candidate and the needs of the school.

About the Role*Teach engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available in some contexts
*Design and deliver well-planned lessons that build scientific knowledge, skills, and curiosity
*Bring Science to life through practical experiments and investigative learning
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, offering clear and supportive feedback
*Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
*Support extra-curricular opportunities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and trips
*Work closely with colleagues to share resources and strengthen teaching practice
We’re Looking For*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
*A specialism in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
*Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science teaching
*The ability to engage, support, and challenge learners of all abilities
*Effective classroom management with a calm and consistent approach
*A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the wider school community
*ECTs are encouraged to apply and will be fully supported through induction and mentoring
