Location: Field-Based (UK & Ireland)
Salary: £51,111 + 25% Annual Bonus
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Are you an experienced Biomedical Science professional with strong haematology expertise?
We are working with a leading provider of innovative diagnostic solutions seeking a knowledgeable Haematology Application Specialist to deliver expert support, training and technical assistance across client sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and work directly with cutting-edge laboratory instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide on-site customer support including equipment installation, training, troubleshooting and performance verification in haematology laboratories.
*Deliver comprehensive training sessions both in-person and remotely through webinars to ensure high competency levels.
*Respond promptly to technical inquiries via telephone, offering expert resolution and follow-up.
*Collaborate with technical teams for complex investigations and software upgrades.
*Maintain detailed documentation, CRM records and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
*Actively contribute to the development of training programs and online learning platforms.
*Ensure adherence to all health, safety and environmental guidelines.
What You’ll Need:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science or related field.
*Minimum 5 years’ laboratory experience, ideally band 6 or higher.
*At least 2 years in a commercial, customer-facing role.
*Strong haematology knowledge and technical problem-solving skills.
*Ability to interpret scientific documentation and maintain regulatory compliance.
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
*Proficient organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills:
*Experience with haematology instrumentation and laboratory information systems (LIMS).
*Familiarity with digital morphology and flow cytometry.
*Knowledge of ISO15189 and laboratory audit processes.
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
