Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Accounts Portfolio Manager to join their friendly and collaborative team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio within a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice. As an Accounts Portfolio Manager, you will deliver a broad range of accounting, tax, compliance, and advisory services while building long-term client relationships, managing your own portfolio with autonomy, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The responsibilities:
*Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their main point of contact
*Prepare and review year-end accounts and financial statements
*Complete personal and corporate tax returns
*Provide proactive accounting and tax advice
*Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
*Manage workloads to ensure deadlines and compliance are met
*Review work produced by junior team members
*Mentor and support the development of junior colleagues
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies
*Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice
The candidate:
*ACA or ACCA qualified with accountancy practice experience
*Proven experience managing a client portfolio independently
*Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax compliance
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads autonomously
