Our client, a prominent entity in the Transmission and Distribution (T & D) sector, is actively seeking an experienced Operations Director to join their team in a permanent capacity. This dynamic role is ideal for those with a strong background in operations management, particularly within the transmission industry.
Key Responsibilities:*Overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and quality in all processes
*Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve operational effectiveness
*Managing and leading a team of operations managers and staff
*Ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies
*Monitoring performance metrics and analysing data to guide decisions
*Collaborating with senior management to set and achieve business targets
*Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
*Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and clients
Job Requirements:*Significant experience in an operations management role, ideally within the transmission industry
*Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively
*Strong understanding of operational best practices and business management
*Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
