Full job descriptionThree Bridges Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts Senior for an Accountancy Practice based in Glasgow City Centre. This is an opportunity to independently manage a diverse client portfolio in a role that blends autonomy with responsibility. You will be preparing statutory accounts & guiding them through the crucial partner review stage, while also playing a key role in mentoring the Accounts Assistants in the team.

Job
The job of Accounts Senior will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
*Prepare statutory & management accounts for review by the Partners
*Handle basic corporation, personal tax & VAT returns (training will be offered for this if needed)
*Support & develop the accounts assistants in the team who assist with bookkeeping
*Assist in client liaison
You
As Accounts Senior you will ideally be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
*Skilled in carrying out the duties listed above
*Skilled in preparing statutory accounts are essential, skills in tax can be taught or developed
*Skilled in cloud-based accounting software, like Xero
*Qualifications are not essential, but being a part or fully qualified Accountant would be advantageous
*Detail-oriented, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills
*Excellent at prioritising to meet deadlines
*Good communicator with superb interpersonal skills
