AI Agent Builder (Microsoft 365 / Copilot)Location: South UK (Oxfordshire / Newbury / Birmingham corridor) - Hybrid working
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits

OverviewWe are seeking an AI Agent Builder to join an internal capability within a growing professional services organisation.
This role focuses on designing and building AI-driven solutions using the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will take pre-defined business requirements and translate them into working agents and automations that improve internal processes and efficiency.
This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who enjoys building, experimenting and working closely with users to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities*Build and deploy AI agents within the Microsoft 365 environment
*Translate prioritised business use cases into functional solutions
*Conduct short requirements discussions with stakeholders to clarify needs
*Develop prototypes and refine solutions through feedback
*Configure integrations across Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
*Define data inputs, permissions and agent behaviour
*Provide guidance on feasibility and limitations of proposed solutions
*Continuously improve and optimise existing builds
Candidate ProfileEssential Skills & Experience*Practical knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
*Experience using tools such as Copilot, Power Platform or similar automation technologies
*Ability to build workflows, automations or AI-enabled solutions
*Understanding of data handling within SharePoint, Excel and related tools
*Strong problem-solving skills and a logical, structured approach
Personal Attributes*Naturally curious with a genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies
*Enjoys building solutions and experimenting with new tools
*Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks
*Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
*Strong communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders
Desirable (Not Essential)*Exposure to AI agent frameworks or chatbot development
*Experience configuring Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tooling
*Familiarity with process automation or workflow design
Example Project WorkAs part of the role, you may be involved in solutions such as:
*Automating the creation of monthly reporting packs from multiple data sources
*Aggregating input from multiple stakeholders into a structured output
*Building dashboards to track task completion and data readiness

Location & Working Pattern*Hybrid working model with approximately three days per week in the office
*Candidates should be reasonably commutable to the South UK corridor (Oxfordshire, Newbury, Birmingham)
