Full job descriptionOur client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency Team Leader/Manager for its Locality Service in adult social care.




This is a full-time post, likely to last 3 months initially.


Paid at £42 per hour (umbrella).


The role will involve the following:


*Managing a generic/locality service for adults
*The team mainly works with older adults or adults with a physical disability, along with issues such as substance misuse, homelessness etc.
*Supervising and supporting social workers
*Managing caseloads and performance
*Safeguarding and risk management
*Quality assurance
*This role will be hybrid with a minimum requirement to come to the office 2 days per week to interact and provide 1:1 to the staff and team meeting

Requirements of the role:


*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*Must be an experienced manager in statutory adult social care
*Must have significant experience of locality work such as complex casework, safeguarding, MCA, best interest decisions, court work etc.
