Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)

The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-regarded law firm in Cardiff looking to add a Legal Assistant to their Secured Lending department. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid admin experience in a legal setting who wants to develop their career.
What you’ll be doing:
*Supporting the Secured Lending team with day-to-day admin tasks
*Conducting HM Land Registry searches and advising clients on property ownership, identifying existing charges, restrictions and other interests which may affect the property.
*Uploading mortgage documents to a third-party e-signing platform.
*Carrying out final checks and HMLR searches in order to prepare files for completion.
*Dealing with registrations of charge and post-completion matters, including but not limited to HMLR applications and responding to requisitions raised in respect of such applications.
*Assisting other team members with overflow work when required, including general administrative tasks.
What you’ll need:
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office
*Experience using a case management system
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*A confident, approachable manner with clients
