Technical Sales Assistant - Edinburgh - Climate Centre

As a Technical Sales Assistant based in Edinburgh you’ll be responsible for:
* Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations and quotations.
* Handling customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders
* Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes
* Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs.
This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00. There is also flexibility, which can be discussed at interview.

* Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
* Ability to resolve customer queries
* A proactive, target-driven mindset
* Willingness to work as a part of a team and to take on a diverse role
* Keenness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic
* Full UK Manual driving is advantageous
