Location: New Hythe, ME20
Rate: £16.50 ph depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Days, either 8am or 9am start time
Job Type: Full-time hours, temporary, PAYE, paid weekly in arrears
Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor Duties will include:
Being responsible for ensuring that goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and safely, helping to keep the warehouse operations running smoothly every day.
Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor main responsibilities
*Unload, check and receive goods into the warehouse
*Goods in/out
*Pick and pack items for production team
*Operate forklifts (mainly Counterbalance) safely and efficiently – in date licence required
*Carry out stock checks and support inventory audits
*Maintain accurate stock records using handheld scanners and PCs
*Keep work areas clean, tidy and compliant with safety and hygiene standards
*Work as part of a close-knit logistics team to meet customer deadlines
*Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader
*Forklift experience (in date Counterbalance licence essential)
*Good IT and stock control skills
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Reliable, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
*Team player with great communication and a can-do attitude
