Full job descriptionWe’re partnering with a leading international manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Analyst who will play a key role in supporting commercial decision-making and driving financial performance across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team where you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of financial activities, work with senior stakeholders, and contribute to business improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, global environment.
The Role
Reporting into the finance function, you’ll provide meaningful financial insight that helps shape business decisions. You’ll work across multiple areas of the organisation, supporting planning cycles, improving reporting processes, and ensuring financial information is accurate, timely and commercially relevant.
Key responsibilities include:
*Delivering financial analysis and performance reporting to support business decisions.
*Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
*Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through detailed data analysis.
*Supporting project and capital expenditure reporting.
*Assisting with month-end reporting and maintaining high standards of financial accuracy.
*Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and reporting.
*Supporting audit activities, financial controls and compliance requirements.
*Building strong relationships with operational and finance stakeholders across the business.
You’ll ideally have:
*AAT qualification (or equivalent) with ambitions to study towards CIMA or ACCA.
*Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role.
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of financial data.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across different teams.
*The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
*Experience within manufacturing, engineering or another operational business would be advantageous but is not essential.
