Full job descriptionOur Client, a Greater Manchester council, is seeking a Team Manager to join their Fostering Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead, manage and support a team of Supervising Social Workers within the Fostering Service.
*Provide effective supervision, performance management and professional development to team members.
*Ensure foster carers receive high-quality support, guidance and regular supervision.
*Oversee foster carer assessments, reviews, approvals and annual reviews.
*Ensure all practice is compliant with fostering regulations, national minimum standards and safeguarding procedures.
*Manage complex cases and provide oversight on risk assessment and decision-making.
*Monitor team performance, quality assurance and service delivery targets.
*Work collaboratively with children’s social care teams, partner agencies and fostering panels.
*Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Ensure positive outcomes for children and young people placed within foster care.
Requirements of this role
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
