We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Corby that is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about inspiring young learners and helping every child reach their full potential.
This role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive school community on a fixed-term basis, with the potential for further opportunities for the right candidate.
Role Highlights:
*Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
*Support pupils’ academic progress alongside their social and emotional development
*Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils across a range of abilities
*Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support development
*Promote positive behaviour, independence, confidence, and resilience
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
*Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, trips, and events
About You:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (KS1 or KS2 experience desirable)
*Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
*A nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
*Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
*A commitment to raising pupil attainment and supporting the development of the whole child
*ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
