Full job descriptionA construction group based near Bradford is seeking a Part Time AAT Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their finance team. This role offers an opportunity for a detail-oriented professional—ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified—to take on a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities*Support daily finance and governance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance


*Maintain accurate records and uphold data integrity within financial systems


*Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial workflows


*Process weekly payroll


*Prepare monthly journals, including prepayments and accruals


*Perform balance sheet reconciliations


*Manage CIS returns and quarterly VAT submissions


Key Skills & Attributes*Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel


*Exceptional attention to detail


*A collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset


*Excellent organisational and communication skills
