*47,472 plus £3,000 per annum lead allowance
About the Role
We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced School Lead to take ownership of a specialist education site and play a key role in shaping its success.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident education leader who is passionate about driving high standards, supporting staff development, and making a real impact on the lives of young people.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to lead the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring outstanding teaching, strong pastoral support, and positive student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the day-to-day running and operational management of the site
*Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and pastoral support
*Drive improvements in behaviour, attendance and student achievement
*Act as Safeguarding Lead (alongside the Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead) and promote a strong safeguarding culture
*Lead, develop and motivate staff, including performance management
*Monitor student progress and use data to inform improvement strategies
*Work collaboratively with SLT, external partners, and families
*Contribute to curriculum development and ensure personalised learning is at the heart of delivery
*Lead on reporting, reviews, and stakeholder engagement
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has leadership experience within an education setting (SEND or alternative provision experience highly desirable)
*Is passionate about building a positive, inclusive and ambitious learning environment
*Has strong experience of improving behaviour, attendance and outcomes
*Is confident leading, developing and challenging staff
*Can use data effectively to drive improvement
*Has excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
*Is a qualified teacher (or equivalent)
