Are you a hardworking and reliable Warehouse/Yard Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence? We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who is looking to expand their busy team.
This is a varied, hands-on role that involves both forklift operation and manual yard duties. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
*Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
*Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders.
*Assisting customers with collections in a friendly and professional manner.
*Organising, moving, and maintaining stock within the yard.
*Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
*Keeping the yard clean, tidy, safe, and well organised.
*Supporting the team with general yard and warehouse duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential).
*Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, builders’ merchant, or similar environment.
*A good level of physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
*A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication and customer service skills.
*A reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach to work.
