Full job descriptionOur client, a Greater Manchester Council is seeking a Adults Social Worker to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Conduct safeguarding enquiries and assessments for adults at risk.
*Triage and screen incoming referrals within the Adult MASH service.
*Gather, analyse and share information from partner agencies to inform decision-making.
*Work collaboratively with Police, Health, Housing and other statutory partners.
*Assess risk and determine appropriate safeguarding interventions.
*Apply relevant legislation including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act.
*Participate in multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions and safeguarding reviews.
*Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive case records.
*Manage a busy caseload while meeting statutory timescales and service requirements.
*Promote positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing for vulnerable adults.
*Provide professional recommendations and support effective safeguarding plans.
*Ensure all practice is person-centred, strengths-based and compliant with local authority policies.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
