As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and driving growth across targeted markets.
You will be responsible for:
*Developing and executing business development strategies across UK and international markets
*Identifying new customers and opportunities within advanced manufacturing sectors
*Building relationships with engineering leaders, procurement teams and senior stakeholders
*Managing the full sales life cycle from initial opportunity through to contract negotiation
*Working closely with engineering and technical teams to develop customer solutions
*Representing the business at industry events, conferences and customer meetings
*Providing market intelligence to support future product and service development
Profile
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager who enjoys selling innovative, technical solutions and building long-term commercial relationships.
You will ideally have:
*Proven experience in business development, technical sales or strategic account management
*Experience selling into engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, automotive or marine markets
*The ability to understand complex technical products and translate value into commercial benefits
*A track record of winning new business and developing strategic partnerships
*Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
*A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
