About the role:As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support secondary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to achieve both academically and socially.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting students in class and during practical activities
*Encouraging communication, independence and confidence
*Implementing positive behaviour strategies
*Building trusting relationships with young people
*Working closely with teachers and therapists
*Supporting students with emotional regulation where needed
*Assisting with personal care if required for individual students
