Contract: Temporary (Ongoing from September until permanent recruitment is complete)
Hours: 9 hours per week – Tuesday and Wednesday evenings
Pay:£26.55 - £34.71 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Newcastle College, part of NCG, to recruit an experienced HE Counselling Lecturer for an ongoing temporary assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Higher Education team, delivering engaging teaching to students studying Counselling. The role will commence in September and continue until a permanent appointment has been made.
The RoleAs an HE Counselling Lecturer, you will deliver high-quality teaching to Higher Education learners, supporting them to develop the knowledge, practical skills and professional behaviours required within the counselling profession.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
*Creating high-quality learning resources to support learner success.
*Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
*Supporting students through tutorials and academic guidance.
*Maintaining accurate learner records and monitoring progress.
*Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding learner experience.
*Promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity and health & safety at all times.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re keen to hear from candidates who have:
*A relevant qualification in Counselling or a related discipline.
*Experience teaching within Higher Education or Further Education (desirable).
*Recent industry experience within counselling.
*A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards one.
*Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*A passion for supporting learners to achieve their potential.
