Job Description:
Full job descriptionMy client is seeking an experienced and ambitious Public Law Associate Solicitor to join their busy and well-established Family Department in their Bolton Office.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage your own caseload of care and public law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Undertake advocacy where appropriate.
• Work independently while maintaining exceptional standards of client care.
• Supervise and support members of the public law team.
• Provide training and mentoring to colleagues where required.
• Support the Head of Department in managing the wider public law team.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the department.
About You
• A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in public law.
• Children Panel Accreditation.
• Significant experience managing care and public law cases.
• Strong advocacy skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills and experience using case management systems.
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team.
• A professional, approachable and client-focused attitude.
• Access to a car for business travel.
