Full job descriptionKCR Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a growing local company to recruit a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and be a motivated finance professional looking to develop their management accounting and team leadership skills within a fast-paced manufacturing.
Managing a small team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to the business. You will provide financial insight that supports operational and commercial decision-making.
*Prepare monthly management accounts
*Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and stock adjustments
*Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
*Support monthly reporting of key operational KPIs
*Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
*Analyse financial results and provide commentary on performance
*Support stock valuation and inventory reconciliation processes
*Work closely with operational teams to improve reporting and cost control
*Supervise and support two finance team members
*Assist with workload planning and process improvement initiatives
*Ensure financial controls and company procedures are followed
*Assist with year-end audit preparation and external auditor queries
*Support continuous improvement projects within the finance function
