Bristol - Hybrid Working £25,000 - £27,000 (potential flexibility up to £30,000 DOE) Full Time | Permanent | 37.5 Hours Per Week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Accounts Assistant to join a growing business based in Bristol. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to build a long-term career within accounting and finance.
Working within a small and supportive finance team, the successful candidate will gain hands on exposure across Accounts Payable and wider finance processes, with excellent opportunities to learn, develop, and progress over time.
The business is looking for someone with the right attitude above all else - someone who is eager to learn, proactive, hardworking, and keen to grow their career within finance.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Assisting with Accounts Payable duties and supplier queries
*Supporting payment runs and reconciliations
*Maintaining accurate financial records within Xero
*Assisting with general finance administration tasks
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
*Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Helping to improve and streamline finance processes where possible
About You
*A recent graduate or someone with some previous finance/accounts experience
*Keen to build a long-term career within finance
*Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Proactive, reliable, and able to work well within a team
*Comfortable using systems and technology
*Experience using Xero would be beneficial but not essential

*Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
*Potential AAT study support following probation
