An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified legal professional to join a well-established in-house legal team supporting a large and diverse organisation. The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload and provide high-quality legal advice to senior managers, officers and key stakeholders across a range of legal matters. Working as part of an experienced legal team, you will play an important role in helping the organisation achieve its objectives while ensuring legal compliance and managing risk.
Key responsibilities include:
*Advising senior stakeholders on legal, governance and policy matters
*Managing a diverse caseload from instruction through to completion
*Drafting and reviewing legal documents, reports and advice
*Representing clients in courts and tribunals where appropriate
*Supporting organisational projects and strategic initiatives
*Identifying opportunities for service improvement and innovation
*Delivering training and guidance to internal stakeholders
*Contributing to the development of junior colleagues and wider team objectives
About You
To be successful, you will be:
*A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx with a current practising certificate
*Experienced in providing legal advice within a complex organisational environment
*Able to manage competing priorities and a busy caseload independently
*A strong communicator with excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills
*Commercially aware with the ability to balance legal risk and practical solutions
*Confident advising senior leadership teams on sensitive and complex matters
*Organised, proactive and committed to delivering excellent client service
