As a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in managing complex site investigations, overseeing contaminated land assessments, and providing technical guidance to clients and junior team members. Key Responsibilities
*Managing and delivering geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from inception to completion
*Planning, supervising, and coordinating intrusive site investigations
*Undertaking contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies
*Interpreting geological, geotechnical, and environmental data
*Preparing Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Site Investigation Reports, and technical interpretative reports
*Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams
*Mentoring and supporting junior consultants and engineers
*Managing project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
*Ensuring compliance with current environmental legislation and health and safety standards
*Supporting business development activities and client relationship management
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience working as a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant or in a similar geo-environmental role
*Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
*Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and UK regulatory frameworks
*Experience managing site investigations and contaminated land risk assessments
*Excellent report writing and technical interpretation skills
*Strong project management and client-facing experience
*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
*Full UK driving licence
*Right to work in the UK
