What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?
*End-to-end purchase ledge, including invoice processing, coding and approvals
*Maintain supplier accounts, resolve queries and reconcile supplier statements
*Cash flow reporting, month-end activities, accruals and aged creditors
*Ensure accurate coding across nominal, departmental and project cost centres
*Support credit control activities, including customer statements and payment allocations
*Assist with VAT returns, audit preparation and stock takes
What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?
*Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance processes
*AAT qualified or studying towards AAT (desirable)
*Excellent Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
