Salary: £35,000 FTE
Our client, a financial services company, is looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organised Receptionist/Administrator to join their London office on a job-share basis. This is a key front-of-house role, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
As the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and colleagues, you will act as a brand ambassador, creating a welcoming and professional environment at all times.
This is a fully office-based position, with working hours split as either 8:00am–1:30pm or 2:00pm–6:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain reception and front-of-house areas to a high standard, ensuring they remain tidy, presentable, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
*Provide a warm and professional welcome to all visitors, contractors, and employees, acting as the first point of contact for the office.
*Manage visitor and contractor sign-in procedures, including the issue and tracking of passes and keys
*Set up and prepare boardrooms for meetings and events, including room layouts and refreshments, and ensure rooms are reset afterwards.
*Support employees with general workplace and office-related queries, serving as a central point of contact for day-to-day office needs.
*Maintain accurate reception records and office logs, while carrying out routine stock checks and replenishment of office supplies.
*Coordinate access for contractors and service providers, liaising with cleaning and maintenance teams to maintain a professional working environment.
*Support new starter and leaver processes, including building access management, ensuring compliance with company procedures and security controls.
*Work collaboratively within a job-share arrangement, providing cover during periods of absence and ensuring a seamless service at all times.
