Full job descriptionHR Specialist EMEA (12 Month FTC)
This highly established US law firm is seeking an experienced HR Specialist on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, to support the firm’s HR initiatives across employee relations, compensation and benefits, reward, recruitment, and onboarding for all business services and legal personnel in the EMEA offices.
*Salary to £55,000
*12-month fixed-term contract

*Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
*Offices near Bank / St Paul’s
HR Specialist EMEA (12 Month FTC) Key Responsibilities:
*Assist with note taking at disciplinary/capability/grievance hearings for employees as required
*Arranges meetings and conference calls and exercises good judgment with regard to priorities and urgency to resolve conflicting appointments
*Manage the new hire process and assist with the leaver process for personnel
*Provide support on the coordination of the new hire induction process, including compiling welcome packs and induction meetings
*Liaise with recruitment agencies to discuss vacancies, CVs, and schedule interviews
*Support the US team by issuing onboarding training reminders for EMEA new hires
*Oversee Return-to-Work processes, partnering with local offices and global HR to ensure completion of required documentation
*Supports on the annual Lawyer and Business Services performance cycles
*Attends Performance Evaluation and Compensation meetings and assists with note taking of discussions
HR Specialist EMEA (12 Month FTC) Skills & Requirements:
*Applicants must have 3+ years’ experience in HR at specialist level within a law firm
*CIPD qualified, or studying towards, is highly desirable
*Proficient in MS Office Applications
*Previous experience using Chrome River, Workday, ADP iHCM would be advantageous
