Leeds City Centre / Mainly Remote
8-Month Temporary Assignment
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a business based in Leeds City Centre on an approximately 8-month temporary contract.
This is a mainly remote role, although candidates must be comfortable attending the Leeds office on occasion when required.
Key responsibilities:*Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
*Matching, batching and coding invoices
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Handling supplier queries and resolving invoice discrepancies
*Assisting with payment runs
*Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as needed
Candidate requirements:*Previous experience working in purchase ledger / accounts payable
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
*Good communication skills
*SAP experience would be highly advantageous
*Must be able to attend the Leeds City Centre office occasionally
