Full job descriptionEXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT
We’re recruiting a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant to support a senior leader within a prestigious, purpose-driven organisation. This pivotal role combines complex diary management, travel coordination, presentation preparation and stakeholder engagement, ensuring priorities are managed effectively and operations run seamlessly. EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT ROLE:
*Providing high-level executive support to the Director of Development, managing complex diaries, meetings, correspondence and international travel arrangements
*Acting as a key liaison across the division, managing stakeholder relationships, prioritising competing demands and ensuring effective communication at all levels
*Preparing and reviewing reports, proposals, presentations, agendas, minutes and other executive documentation for internal and external audiences
*Supporting prospect and donor engagement activities, maintaining accurate CRM records, coordinating meetings and preparing follow-up communications
*Managing sensitive information, maintaining filing systems and ensuring accurate record-keeping across administrative and fundraising activities
*Supporting financial administration, including budget reconciliation, purchase orders, invoices, expense management and financial reporting
*Coordinating team operations, including meeting management, recruitment support, onboarding activities and annual planning processes
*Collaborating with Executive Assistants and wider administrative teams to support divisional projects, continuous improvement initiatives and seamless business operations
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT ESSENTIALS:
*Being educated to a graduate level or equivalent
*Demonstrating significant experience in Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant roles within large and complex organisations, progressing through increasingly demanding positions
*Managing complex diaries, schedules and travel arrangements
*Providing high-quality customer service to a wide range of stakeholders
*Demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities
*Maintaining excellent organisational and time management skills
*Working effectively under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
