This position has been created to support the Sales Ledger Manager, day to day you’ll support a small team, but your main focus will be taking the lead on a new project.
The business is currently in the process of implementing a new system…A big part of your role will be working with the sales department but also deputise for the Sales Ledger Manager.
You’ll need to be a people person and have experience in cashiering/sales ledger but also the ambition to become a manager within the next few years…
Below is a small overview of the role;
*Lead the sales ledger team in the absence of the Sales Ledger Manager.
*Be the Sales Ledger project lead, in the role out of a new integrated payment solution throughout the group and become the subject matter expert on this new system.
*Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for allocated expense codes.
*Receive, sort and log daily banking from sites.
*Complete daily banking posting sheets for allocated sites.
*Reconcile cash suspense accounts.
*Review and distribute debtors for allocated sites (inc. liaising with sites to resolve overdue debts).
