Key Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties will include, but are not limited to:
*Developing and implementing the company’s sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
*Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across a range of sectors and industries.
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business owners, and key decision-makers.
*Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation and contract completion.
*Developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline using proactive business development techniques.
*Producing accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and commercial updates for senior management.
*Working collaboratively with marketing and operational teams to maximise business development opportunities.
*Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new commercial opportunities.
*Representing the business at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
*Supporting the continuous improvement of sales processes, customer engagement, and commercial performance.
*Negotiating commercial agreements while ensuring profitable and sustainable growth.
*Acting as a trusted advisor to prospective clients through a consultative sales approach.
What You Will Need to Apply:
The successful candidate will have previous experience within a Sales Director, Head of Sales, Commercial Director, Business Development Director, or similar senior commercial role. In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
*A proven track record of delivering sustained business growth and exceeding sales targets.
*Significant experience in B2B business development and consultative sales.
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop strategic opportunities.
*Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
*Experience engaging with senior executives, business owners, and key stakeholders.
*The ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Strong organisational and pipeline management abilities.
*Experience using CRM systems to manage opportunities and sales reporting.
*A self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
*Previous experience within professional services, consultancy, or solution-based sales would be advantageous but is not essential.
