We’re working with a tech based logistics company who are looking for an Accounts Assistant (AP focused) to start as soon as possible.

This is a 3-6 month assignment with the potential to be extended. You’ll need to hit the ground running, so we’re looking for someone with strong technical AP skills and prior experience using Sage 200.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
*Check invoices received have loaded via SICON
*Input invoices to Sage if not uploaded via SICON
*Raise purchase orders
*Obtain invoice approval for payments
*Payment runs (suppliers, capex, foreign, intercompany, PAYE)
*Account reconciliation
*Download bank statements, post transactions and provide other team members with their transactions
*Clear down emails in accounts inbox.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
*Prior experience in Accounts Payable roles, ideally in similar fast paced environments
*Confident using Sage 200
*Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to processing
*A clear communicator, confident dealing with suppliers directly
*Reliable, efficient and able to work both independently and collaboratively
