What will the Payroll Officer role involve?
*Managing the accurate processing of staff salaries, expenses, and third-party payments to ensure timely releases
*Administering pension schemes and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations
*Providing a professional and customer-focused payroll support service to staff and external agencies
*Liaising effectively with internal departments and external bodies to ensure smooth payroll operations
*Assisting the Payroll Manager in maintaining payroll procedures and supporting continuous process improvement
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Officer vacancy:
*Solid experience in payroll administration, ideally within a complex environment
*Knowledge of pension schemes, statutory payroll compliance, and expense processing
*Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
*Effective communication skills with a professional manner to build rapport across teams
*Proactive mindset and a willingness to learn new systems and procedures
