A leading global engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join its growing design team.
This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in the office and flexibility to be based from multiple locations across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role on high-profile, multidisciplinary projects across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, and education.
*You will lead the delivery of mechanical building services design on complex projects, ensuring high-quality, integrated solutions.
*Lead and manage project teams (up to 10 engineers).
*Oversee project delivery and resolve technical challenges.
*Collaborate with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced mechanical building services engineer who enjoys leading projects and developing people.
You’ll ideally have:
*Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (BEng, MEng, BSc or MSc).
*Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
*Significant experience within a building services or engineering consultancy environment.
*A strong technical background in mechanical building services design.
*Experience leading multidisciplinary design projects.
*Previous line management or mentoring experience.
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
