Full job descriptionAre you an experienced procurement professional looking for your next challenge? I am recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to lead supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and ensure the smooth delivery of goods and services across a fast-paced catering operation.
Key Duties:*Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best value.
*Manage supplier performance, contracts, and KPIs.
*Partner with Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams to improve service and reduce costs.
*Lead tender (RFP) processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Analyse spend, manage price variances (PPV/IPV), and identify savings opportunities.
*Drive supplier innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.
Experience required*Minimum 3 years’ procurement/purchasing experience (catering or food industry preferred).
*Background in FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or food production.
*Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
*Experience managing supplier performance and contracts.
*Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, and working in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
